Oil and Oil Stocks Slide While Tech Stocks Lead The Way…

All across the board, most of the oil stocks took a beating. Oil stocks such as PDO, MXC, ROYL, FPP and many others faced strong selling pressure from anxious retail investors looking to cash in a profit. On the flip side, the strength in the NASDAQ definitely helped out quite a few tech stocks. Many of these tech stocks experienced above average volume and institutional buying pressure. Some notable tech stocks include: AEHR, ANST, CVLT, FFIV, HGG, MPWR, MRVL, NZ, PEGA, PSEM, QCOM, UTSI, etc.
